Within the larger war in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the warring parties carry out another war - that of sexual violence against women and girls. This report documents the frequent and sometimes systematic use of sexual violence in eastern areas of the country that are occupied by the Rwandan army and administered by its Congolese proxy, the Rassemblement congolais pour la democratie (RCD).
