After the Prayer for a Sick Child insert Prayers For the Aged, In time of great bodily Danger and Distress, and In prolonged Sickness. After the prayer For a Sick Person when there appeareth but small hope of recovery insert the Short Prayers with the Dying. COMMUNION OF THE SICK. Add to the first rubric the words "the Minister first pronouncing O praise the Lord," etc., before the present Collect. In the first rubric change "two" to " one. Between the second and third of the rubrics after the Gospel insert a new rubric and an alternative Order. After the present last rubric add another. ORDER FOR THE BURIAL OF THE DEAD. After the Lesson insert a new rubric, preceding the present one. At the end of "Man that is born of a woman," etc., add "Amen." In the last rubric, for “ some standing by" read "the Minister or some one appointed by him." In the Sentence of Committal change "deceased brother" to "brother departed" and add Amen at the close. At the end of the Office add a rubric. Append to the Office the special Form of Committal Sentence provided for The Burial of their Dead at Sea, prefacing the same with a proper rubric. AT THE BURIAL OF INFANTS AND YOUNG CHILDREN provide new alternative forms. THE CHURCHING OFFICE. Alter the third rubric. Omit the first rubric and the Collect which follows the first prayer. Put at the beginning the prayer For Merchantmen. After the prayer For Merchantmen insert the title, For Ships of War. In the Prayer to be used in Storms insert in the title the words "in all ships" after the word "used." Group separately all prayers that refer to storms and those that refer to an enemy; transferring the Lord's Prayer to a place immediately after the Absolution and prefacing it with a rubric. Arrange under distinct headings the forms belonging to Thanksgiving after a Storm and Thanksgiving after Victory. Add to the Forms a rubric. THE VISITATION OF PRISONERS. Change the wording of the second rubric. Omit the words "Minister" and "Answer" from the Versicles that follow the Lord's Prayer. For the Collect after the Versicles substitute the Collect "O God, whose nature," etc., and place this, together with the Prayer, "O God who sparest," after the Psalm Miserere, prefacing the two Collects with a rubric. Change the wording of the second rubric after the Creed. Omit the printing of the Miserere. Change the title of the Prayer for Persons under Sentence of Death. Omit the Prayer for Imprisoned Debtors. Change the rubric after the blessing. Add a "Note." FORMS OF PRAYER TO BE USED IN FAMILIES. Morning Prayer.-Omit the words "And" and "But" at the beginning of the second and third Prayers after the Lord's Prayer. In the Prayer for Grace to enable us, etc., for "excited to our duty" put "incited to our duty.' In the Prayer for Grace to guide and keep us, for “with put "in" and for "business" read "duties." To the marginal note "on Sunday mornings," etc., add a reference to a foot-note, which also insert. Evening Prayer.-Omit the word And" from the Intercession, and for "living and dying" read "living or dying." Add an alternative benedictory prayer. In the last rubric, for "New Testament" read "Holy Scripture." SELECTIONS OF PSALMS. Omit, and substitute a Table of Selections and a Table of Proper Psalms. THE PSALTER. In place of the "portions of Psalms to be sung or said at Morning Prayer, instead of the Venite,” insert five Proper Anthems, etc. Change Ps. cxli. to Evening of twenty-ninth day. FORM OF CONSECRATION OF A CHURCH OR CHAPEL. Omit from the title all that follows the word Chapel. In the first prayer, for the words "performance of all other holy offices" substitute "ministries of holy worship." In the second Intercessory Prayer change the wording at the beginning. Supply Alternative Lessons. Omit the rubric that follows the Lessons. In the prayer before the final blessing, for "religious performance" read "solemnities." After the Gospel insert a rubric and print the Jubilate Deo. INSTITUTION OF MINISTERS. Omit from the title all that follows the word Churches. In the first rubric substitute for what follows the words this Church, the words proceed to institute him into the Parish. In the Bishop's Letter of Institution omit the words in brackets [or Assistant Minister, as the case may be]. Omit the Standing Committee's Letter of Institution and the rubric that precedes it. Change the rubric before the Proper Psalms. In the rubrics which precede and follow the challenge to show just cause, etc., before the words "the priest" insert the words "the Bishop or.' وو Omit from the challenge the words (or Assistant Minister). In the second rubric, after the challenge omit the words "the Priest who acts as," and substitute for the words "he shall next read" the words "then shall be read."
