Об авторе (2007)

KARL DEROUEN JR., associate professor at the University of Alabama, holds his PhD in Political Science. He has been awarded the 2006 McNair Faculty Fellow award at the U. of Alabama. His most recent book, co-edited with Uk Heo, is Defense and Security: A Worldwide Guide to National Armed Forces and Security Policies of the World (2005).

PAUL BELLAMY is a research analyst at the Parliamentary Library, New Zealand Parliament. He is a former visiting lecturer at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand, and continues to deliver guest lectures at various universities. He has undertaken work for Jane's International, Transparency International, and the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance. He has published in diverse areas, including co-authoring a major study of democracy in New Zealand.
