CERTAIN early productions of Cowper which were not included in the Aldine collection, as well as the Anti-Thelyphthora, also wanting there, have. now been added from Southey's edition of Cowper's Works, which has been taken as the standard for the text. Two of the Olney Hymns, No. XXXIV. and No. LXVII. (of which last Southey printed only a fragment), are inserted, together with a few other pieces from Mr. Grimshawe's edition.
