General Convention of the Protestant Episcopal Church. HOUSE OF DEPUTIES. PHILADELPHIA, October, 1883. Resolved, That the Treasurer of the General Convention be, and hereby is, authorized and instructed to receive from the Right Rev. Dr. John Williams, the legal title to the "Book Annexed", of which title the said Dr. Williams is at present the proprietor; and that said title be taken by the said Treasurer and be held by him, and by his successor, in the office of Treasurer, in trust for the General Convention of the Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States of America, and subject to the orders of the said Convention from time to time to be given. Resolved, That the said Treasurer cause to be prepared under his direction, stereotype plates of the said Book (as it shall be prepared by this Convention), which shall correspond in typography and size of page with the "Book Annexed," from which plates all editions of the Book shall be printed without alterations; the said plates to be the property of this Convention; and all money received by said Treasurer as royalty or otherwise, over and above expenses, shall be paid by said Treasurer, until further order of the General Convention, to the Treasurer of the Trustees of the Fund for the Relief of the Widows and Orphans of Deceased Clergymen, and of Aged and Infirm and Disabled Clergymen, for the purposes of the said Fund. Resolved, That an Editing Committee of three, to consist of one from each order, be appointed to aid the Treasurer of the General Convention in carrying out the provisions of these resolutions.
