It is based upon records in the office of the Secretary General of the Military Tribunals and is believed to be nearly complete, although no doubt there are a few omissions. Following the alphabetical list, the defense counsel are listed according to the defendants whom they represented in the 12 cases. The cases are listed by number, and within each case the defendants appear in alphabetical order. In the list of defense counsel which is compiled according to the names of the defendants they represented, other information concerning individual counsel is given according to the following legend: 1.
