I know a lot of people who have survived from Khiojali genocide made by armenians. It is really undescribely painful than the current president of Armenia Serj Sargisian confesses that he was one of the commanders who have organised one of the most bloody and brutal massacre in Azerbaijan and they have killed the civilian azeri population deliberately for particular purpose. (see page 172) How shame that even now (after 20 years) he is free and he is the president of Armenia.

An interesting, well-informed book, although lacks further suggestions about whether peace and reconciliation is achievable. Still, it is very good to see this kind of books, which is aimed at enlightening Western readers in the South Caucasus conflicts

Even-handed, thorough, and engaging from start to finish. The definitive account of this tragic conflict.
