Pillars of Lace is an eclectic collection of the finest writing by Italian-Canadian women. It is the first anthology of its kind in Canada. This anthology showcases excerpts of a variety of writing styles: poetry, short stories, film scripts, novels, personal memoirs, and journalism. Об авторе (1998)

Marisa De Franceschi came to Canada in 1948. She grew up in Windsor, Ontario, where she graduated from the University of Windsor and taught for a number of years. Her short stories, articles and book reviews have appeared in a variety of Canadian publications. She has twice been the recipient of the Okanagan Short Story Award. She currently lives in Windsor, Canada. She is the author of Family Matters and Surface Tension.
